We are very happy to introduce The Martha Stewart Wedding Collection to the Magenta Ink! Studio for 2010. This distinctive collection comprises of 24 stationery suites pairing classic printing techniques, including engraving, letterpress, thermography, letterpress and foiling on all cotton tree free and certified recycled papers.

The designs will appeal to the modern day bride as well as the romantic and the traditional bridal couple. With hand drawn clover vines, scalloped borders and unique monogram motifs. We hope to be able to blog the various styles over the next twelve months as the seasons of the year change. Available through the Magenta Ink Studio.

Allee and Press-Vintage Letterpress Invitations

We are really honoured to have the beautiful letterpress collection by Allee and Press who are based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Amanda Clarno the director of Allee and Press is a very talented designer who designs and prints each piece of stationery from scratch. Talented or what!! she uses a vintage letterpress which she affectionately calls Vandy as it is a 1963 Vandercook Press!
I have selected some very fitting winter invitations to feature today which are very in keeping with the season. Equally they have some lovely designs suitable for spring, summer and autumnal weddings. Snowflake Invitations

The winter edition 2009/10 of "The Best Scottish Weddings" has now hit the magazine stands in bookshops and newsagents.

We all just love a wedding magazine and this winter edition is very romantic indeed. In this months copy they have a lovely stationery feature titled "Let it Snow" with snowflakes and sparkle to set the tone for winter nuptials.

We are lucky to have some glam invitations featured by designer Anna Griffin. "The Winter Snowflake" and "Gold Calligraphy Tree" Invitations featured just hit that magical spot.

Our Christmas Dog

My boys love sending out photo cards to their friends at Christmas and our border collie "Robbie" is always the star on the card. I just thought I would share the pictures taken this year, as they do make you smile and give you the feel good factor for the day. He sat so patiently like a real Hollywood Dog Star. He should really be in the movies, he is so obedient, he sat patiently for 15 minutes getting these shots taken, although he did get little biccie treats for doing so!!

Themed parties are always fun to work on and we were very pleased at the Magenta Ink Studio to be asked to design some very fabulous, fun 50th birthday invitations with a rock n roll twist for an Elvis fan. Combining sophistication with fun these don't step on my blue suede shoes, vinyl record style invitations definitely had the x factor ! Rock on baby...

We have just taken delivery of these very sweet Tokyomilk kissing kits which are just perfect for the party season ahead. Butterfly kisses is a gorgeous shade of cool pearly pink with SPF15 protection. The tube is hand wrapped in Pink Roses with Bees paper. Each Kiss Me kit contains an adorable shimmery Lipstick in an onyx tube and packaged with hot red mints to prepare you for kissing.

Kissing Booth which is my favourite one is a gorgeous shade of shimmery rum raison with SPF protection. The tube is hand wrapped in Girl with Daisies paper. All ready to go girls with those mints.

Lace is a trend which we will probably being seeing a lot more of in stationery is 2010.

In fact Ivanka Trump favoured a Vera Wang Lace wedding dress for her recent wedding which was featured in the Hello! Magazine which was inspired by Grace Kelly's wedding dress. Black and White Chic Stationery

We were very happy at Magenta Ink! to be involved in the wedding of Deborah McNab and Colin Kirk which took place early Autumn on the 12th September 2009 at Airth Castle Hotel & Spa Resort in Central Scotland near Stirling and Edinburgh. The Historic Airth Castle majestically overlooks the River Forth and has been around since the 14th Century, therefore compeletly steeped in romance and history. What a beautiful setting for such a lovely wedding.

Deborah and Colin were a pleasure to work with from the start, Deborah being an architect had very firm ideas on the look and construction! of her wedding stationery. The crisp black and white stationery was inspired by her love of "Jo Malone Candles" and the table names were even named after her favourite "Jo Malone Fragrances" such as Wild Fig and White Jasmine. What a nice idea!

Thank you Deborah and Colin for being so kind as to let us have a sneak view of how the tables and detailing looked on the big day itself. A contemporary and chic wedding set in one of Scotland's finest castles. Every Brides's dream...

Beautiful Italian Wedding

Newly weds Angela and Sandy Kerr were very kind to share some recent wedding photographs with Magenta Ink! of their Summer Italian Wedding at the very beautiful location of Villa Catignano in Tuscany close to Siena, in the Chianti countryside. They kindly are allowing pictures from their location to be shown on our own Magenta Ink blogspot!

The Vera Wang Imperial Scroll Wrap Invitations which the Bride and Groom had selected earlier in the year were a perfect fit for their special day. Magenta Ink! were also very pleased to be able to supply a lovely Table Plan, Place Settings, Menus and Gift Tags which made a perfect fit with the black and white theme of the day.

The place any self respecting bride should visit is the Designer Wedding Show in London's serenely beautiful Battersea Park. Great Venue, Great Show. I particularly enjoyed the wonderful fashion show which started directly after the champagne breakfast. I am totally in love with The Bruce Oldfield Bridal Collection, OMG that man is so talented.

Easy Living Magazine has always been a favourite read of mine and I realised they really did have great taste when I picked up the November 2009 copy to find our friends (Trish and David Lowes) son Jonathan pictured in the fashion shoot on location at Edinburgh Castle with his pipes in hand and a very glamorous model draped over him.

I'm sure the boys at Stew Mel will be in awe of that! Piping hot Jonathan boy...
